Digital Promotion Toolkit: Ensuring a Strong Future for America’s Cancer Workforce

Background

The President’s Cancer Panel, which was established by the National Cancer Act of 1971, is charged with monitoring the activities of the National Cancer Program and reporting to the President on barriers to progress in reducing the burden of cancer.

In a new Panel report, Ensuring a Strong Future for America’s Cancer Workforce, Panel members Dr. Carol Brown and Dr. Mitchel Berger present recommendations for building a robust cancer workforce that is ready to meet the current and future needs of people affected by cancer.
